This is a question aimed at those who have built on a 1 acre lot.
How much did you spend on turf? I imagine to turf the whole lot would be too expensive. Just trying to work out how much to budget for this.
We will probably go for empire zoysia.

We just did 650sq m.. empire zoysia, laid for $14/m2.

We turfed our acreage block.. got 3300m2 turfed with wintergreen couch for $4 a metre supplied and installed. They did a better deal for more than 2000m2. Glad we went with couch... Yeah it dies if it doesn't rain for ages but then rains twice and suddenly have green lawn again. Used to have sirealter and hated it.. only problem with couch is it gets everywhere

They using concrete or timber sleepers? Timber or steel uprights? Any drainage behind sleeper?

custom probably not. Volume, most defiantly, but spec would vary. If youre doing a knock down, there additional costs associated with that that will eat into your budget…
