Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Aug 12, 2015 1:33 pm Hi there, We are based in Perth and have 3 soakells in our front lawn area. We are hoping to have planter boxes and some stairs at the front of the house but it looks like the stairs might have to be built over one of the soakwells. Has anyone done this before? I do understand that its ideal to be able to access the soakwellls should there be any flooding later on. But Is it a huge problem if we are not able to access one of them?? We dont have any large trees around the house so the chance of leaves blocking these is very little. Any tips/ suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sara Building with Celebration homes SOR Perth [color=#BF00BF] Much a do about nothing. You can see the fall heading to the actual drains. Stormwater ingress will be minimal and it's far better to have the top sitting flush rather… 12 5197 As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant. The pipe is meant to be covered in loose soil or sand, the pipe has holes in it that leaks out a termicide… 10 4654 Just get as close as you can without hitting the posts. Once you are close to the edge of the path the chance of cracking is minimised. 7 7350 |
