Re: Exposed Aggregate or Liquid Limestone for Alfresco, BBQ 2Oct 16, 2014 10:56 pm Having had both, I would say go with the agg. Liquid limestone, while it has the advantage of always being a comfortable temperature underfoot, (even in a heat wave) does and will stain, being a natural product. Limestone is naturally porous. And in winter it discolours. We had to use the high pressure spray on ours each spring for it to look good for the coming summer.
Your agg will take spills and dirt and still look great. Re: Exposed Aggregate or Liquid Limestone for Alfresco, BBQ 4Oct 22, 2014 8:36 am Agree on clean-up - but its the same for tiles. I give mine a good clean every few months. Use one of those high pressure gadgets. Easy and quick. You don't/can't believe the dirt that accumulates on the tiles.
