Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Apr 12, 2014 7:34 pm Hi All, Does it matter where the gas bayonet is placed and water/electricity points? We plan on having a future outdoor kitchen with bbq/stove/water connections/dishwasher etc.. However kind of confused where to place these points and how would an outdoor kitchen company connect to these without the pipes/wires showing.. any help on this topic or suggested alternatives is much appreciated. thanks Re: outdoor/alfresco gas, electrical/water points? 2Apr 12, 2014 8:39 pm I was not too sure either but played around with numerous layouts and have sort of worked out where the gas and water will go. For things that need concealed power we have the points at 300mm off the ground and for the ones above the bench we have gone at 1100mm. That way when you put benches etc in it will all be covered. The pipes should just be capped but you do need to specify where they will go. Better to have more pp's than less imo. Also - we had a few double PPs in the ceiling of our outdoor area - to hang mossie zappers from - works really well and keeps them out of the way - no cords dangling down walls etc. thanks. the above one is white Mat tiles and have gripness so going for this Mat tiles for both indoor and outdoor.
