Except Cooldeck comes with the option of having a corrugated topside. A 6 x 4 roof over as a flat style roof, falling towards the house roof would look mint, and the gap would be maybe 50mm at best from the house roof. The roof over mounting brackets are designed to land on the inner wall and therefore, the roof over will go back over the house roof as far as the inner wall. This should cost you $5500 - 6000. As a gable just add $2500.00. Looks awesome mate.. steve@everlastpatios.com.au www.everlastpatios.com.au Re: Patio / Alfresco Cover ? 28May 11, 2014 9:33 pm Saint Mike Dreamer Saint Mike It's amazing how you see things once you are interested in them ... Installers found that our deck roof was going touch a point on the house roof where two sections of roof joined so they ended up increasing the deck roof pitch to clear it. Not sure, I'm told its not a real problem - it barely touches the roof, and weighs next to nothing - it's just the roof bit - ie gutter and sheet metal corner ... but it wasn't meant to do it. There've provided a note in writing that it is not an issue. And I do have insurance on the build for 6 years. Looks great though ...
