Browse Forums Outdoor Living Re: Composite decking options- Modwood vs Timbertech vs Ekod 14Nov 30, 2014 1:53 pm Sorry, we have been a bit slack on taking and posting photos, here are a couple that I have on hand, of our Ekodeck in grey. Deck finished, starting a gabion wall garden bed adjacent And finishing the wall seating with a narrower width board of the same product and colour I cant tell you exact costs, as we did a porch as well and I have lost track of all the costs. It was $63 per length (5.4m) of decking, plus screws, plus tools. Maybe around $2500 for 3.2x6.5m deck, 1.5x2m porch, and the seat. The support framework underneath was done by our builder, so that would be extra. Re: Composite decking options- Modwood vs Timbertech vs Ekod 15Sep 29, 2017 7:59 am Done a couple of merbau decks but just love the hardi deck I did, plus accepted the fact not to make it look like timber and used the recommendation to paint it with heavy duty driveway paint. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10972 Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home.
