Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Dec 24, 2013 12:59 pm I got a quote from hytech.com.au which is $500 per sqm for timber decking and $350 per sqm for round top pergolas. The price includes everything, includes: Da approve, steel pier, material, labor, old timber deck remove etc. not include fence My house is on hillside, there is a downhill in front and in garden, it's not very easy to take the materials in. Currently there is an old timber decking on second floor, I want to remove it and build a new one, it is 20 sqm. On ground level, I want to build a new timber decking, the ground is a bit sloped, area is around 60 sqm. I have checked the forum, most people get quote between $150 - $250, is $500 too expensive? Many thanks Re: Is $500 Per sqm Timber decking over priced? 2Dec 24, 2013 1:03 pm I think the lower prices are for a no hassle standard build. I think you should source a few quotes for the job and see the background/ experience of those quoting. By the sound of it you don't want to get this wrong and it will be more expensive to suit your build. While 500 may sound expensive it may be correct for the complexity of the job.
