Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Nov 11, 2013 1:22 am Just wondering has anyone had experience with painting concrete? My driveway is fairly unsightly with many cracks so I plan to clean it down fill the cracks and use a paver paint to restore it. Would using regular cement mix to fill these cracks be sufficient? Does anyone recommend a paver paint that they have used? Cheers Re: Painting a cracked concrete driveway 2Nov 11, 2013 5:45 am Once concrete is cracked in a driveway it will remain cracked. However my garage shoudl be more stable than outside paving. The correct way is to get epoxy. THere are some that claim the join will end up stronger than the adjacent concrete. I havent found a local supplier however I suspect it will also be expensive. The other way I could think of is to use experienment with acyrlic render. This is slightly flexibile and will stick better to the concrete than regular cement. Given you you are goign to paint over it it may not look as bad. Also keep in mind it will crack however hopefully the next time it will be a smaller one (no more than a hair line) Plumbers 'can be' plumbers, made all the worse by self certification which the building surveyor invariably accepts as proof of compliance!
