Deck size: Length from the house is 4.1m Width is 5.7m Ground clearance to the top of the decking is 230mm The problem I am having is that I have strip footings around the outdoor room and that prevents me of using Bearers and Joists I was looking at using single 140x45 F7 Treated Pine (4.2m lengths) as a BEARER/JOIST and for the life of me I have no idea at what distances to put the timber apart?
