Al, Is that the shop near the Ampol service station? near Met rico0n head office? Adrian B Re: Need a new Lawn Mower? 22Aug 07, 2008 8:43 am got me environmower and despite a missing wrench it seems ready for action.
Just curious, my mower had an electrical wire connected from its innards to the side of the box, of all goddamn places. Now I'm a bit ** off with the manual here because that little set up totally threw me. What was its function, I asked myself? Is it part of the overall set up? What will happen when I unplug it? Ok technical-types can sneer but I think it's a valid complaint. In the end the penny dropped and I assumed it was just to earth the battery or something because the key went into the place where the wire ended on the mower but when I was moving the mower around in its box (I don't want to assemble it yet) I was trying to keep the wire intact which, in hindsight, could have damaged the socket. I should have taken it (the wire) out! Yet another example where instructions are not comprehensive enough and don't cater for the full range of users i.e. the technically-challenged! the leaves that are now underground go yellow, the tips that poke through photosynthesise and have chlorophyll, same reason they grow rhubarb in the dark. 5 4867 Ask yourself if the insurance company will be aware of the Reno. 4 7371 6 55346 |
