Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jan 10, 2013 8:20 am Hi there, recently bought a new place where we have an oak tree out the front, and its started dropping acorns on out front carport which the previous owners covered in corrugated iron. The sound it makes is very very loud. I was thinking of putting a shadecloth on and angle from the roof to the edge of the carport, so it slides off. Or alternatively a piece of rubber or foam on the top of the carport, but it would have to be angled so it can fall off. Shadecloth would probably have less chance of rotting.
