Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Oct 03, 2012 1:09 pm We had a builder recently install a simple timber pergola off the side of our house, its just a timber frame with plastic roof sheeting screwed into it. It looks great and I was pleased with his work until it started raining. It appears he didn't install the roof sheeting on a slope so when it rains the water runs towards the house and not out to the grass. There is a tiny gap between the roof sheeting and the brick wall and this is where the water flows down. What can I do to fix this? I have tried calling the builder and he says he is coming to fix it but never shows and now I can't get a hold of him at all. Can I go to bunnings and buy some sort of flashing? Or am I better off unscrewing the whole roof and creating a slope with a higher batten at the back??
