Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Aug 24, 2012 8:41 pm Hi, I have a patio that, due to capillary action, allows water to run behind the gutter and then drip down the beam. It seems that the patio panels are not overhanging the gutter enough. Is there an easy fix for this? I have thought about riveting 90 degree edge to the leading edge of the panels or installing a sheet or some other material in the space between the beam and the gutter to flow the water back into the gutter. It is not causing any issues right now but it is annoying. Any help would be appreciated. Re: Drip Edge 2Aug 29, 2012 1:41 pm Sheet roofing is defective if it overhangs the gutter's inside face by less than 50 mm or by more than 65 mm. If it is a recent install, it will be under warranty and you should contact the installer. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage.
