I like the idea of hebel - being lightweight but I am not sure as to how it would cope with the weight of people sitting on it, and how it would go with soil inside it... I am envisaging a 45-50cm high bench/garden edge over a span of 4m along one side of the patio, with the garden bed being about 1m wide, and soil height inside would be about 35-40cm above natural ground level. Would I be able to use the hebel on top of the existing patio concrete (75mm) or would I require specific foundations? Any links or pictures you come across would be helpful. Thanks.
