Why are outdoor BBQ ramgehoods so expensive , what can't I use a cheap euro 900mm rangehood for 500 bucks instead of the 2 -3k beasts I see on some websites ? As it was explained to me the indoor units move 600-700 m3 of air. Over the BBQ there is a lot more smoke etc and the Outdoor BBQ units you see move 2000 m3 as they are designed for the BBQ's. The internal ones will not be able to do the job and they won't be covered under warranty. They managed to convince me as I bought one. I still have in the box the 900mm Franke Stainless Steel one I thought I was going to use before I was convinced. Slab Down: 2/6/11 Moved in 13/3/2012 Current Status : Waiting for the garden to grow.
