At the house side (where it's attached), it's going to be some 2.7m or so (can be more). Our dilemma is - what is a good height for the pergola at the front (where the posts are)?! (The front will also be the long dimension.) If it's too low, we think that it would not look and feel good. If it's too high, we'd be suffering in rains etc. What is a reasonable height?
