Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jul 17, 2011 12:33 pm We have moved into our new home about 3 months ago and are just about to start on the outside areas. We have an under cover Alfresco area that comes off our family room. We have wooden floorboards inside and think timber would be better, but paving is cheaper. We are just wondering what majority of people prefer pavers or decking? Gives the place a real indoor/outdoor feel continuing the flooring from inside to out. However, if you have tiles or a dark polished wood floor then I'd go for paving. I live in a complex of townhouses and most are identical inside and out, with the exception of some which have a deck - the ones with the deck always get the biggest sale price so I think the general consensus is that people like decking 2fk Re: Timber decking or Pavers? 3Jul 22, 2011 11:50 pm Mmmm its such a toss up - I think both can look great if done well. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10970 Appreciate that Chippy. I won’t do sand under pavers and will connect all up under pavers, however I was going to do: 1) Roadbase compacted with manual hand tamper 2)… 10 18551 |
