Re: Steel structured outdoor area 22Aug 14, 2011 9:53 am Dollar Starz I think it will look great but yes you have a huge area to cover. What's your plan B? I am sick of ridiculously over-priced quotes when you know true well they are making a huge profit. Plan B may be shadecloth or umbrellas... Just to get us though summer until we can afford the poles. Then the roofing can go on later. I don't think we need a permit for poles and no roof! I should thing not, but then again council loves lining their pockets, I sure they will figure out a way to make me pay. I was also told that I may need a planning permit because of the size? We wanted to get some sort of structure up before we concrete so the concrete can be poured around the poles but by the looks of it, I think we will be concreting first! Not looking good Dollar, not looking good at all. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All new built homes look like display homes... until the furniture goes in. Re: Steel structured outdoor area 23Aug 14, 2011 11:09 am Have you thought about compromising the material used? Do you want the whole area covered and in the product you mentioned which seems quite expensive? hmmm I'm not sure what else you can do. Does it need to be the size you mentioned and could you make the area smaller? The quote we get for the fence better be reasonable as I'm not sure what we'll do.
