Our pergola will be going up next week, we are having a merbau ceiling and a poly carbonate roof, hubbi has been working in our yard for over a week, the landscaping out there nearly complete. We are getting a hand with the front, we want some merbau floating steps as we are elevated off the street and some nice big mud rocks, can't wait. A merbau ceiling sounds lovely. We are using 10mm Dampolon with timber battens underneath - that way it is fully waterproof (apart from horizontal rain on top) and the timber battens ensures it still looks good.
