Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 May 23, 2011 11:10 am We're roughly 10 weeks from our pool being installed and we probably have room in our budget for solar heating. Went to the Brisbane Pool & Spa show on the weekend and couldn't believe the amount of different solar heating you can get. We like the look of these two the most: http://www.sunbather.com.au/default.html and http://www.solartherm.com.au/ Anyone use any of these? Sunbather uses the matting setup where as Solartherm uses an aluminium type box setup. Any recommendations? I haven't got quotes on either one yet. Re: Solar Heating - Pool 2May 23, 2011 8:39 pm I like the look of the solartherm, not a big fan of the look of all that tubing on the roof, you offen see that blown off after one of our qld storms. Would be interest in the price of the solartherm when you get it. Hope all goes well with your build Cheers Lou http://take2-customdesigndownslope.blogspot.com 07-10-09 omg they have cut the block 14-05-10 we finally have the keys Re: Solar Heating - Pool 3May 25, 2011 9:04 am A bit off topic but.. Not sure if I totally believe it though. How does solar heating compete vs a solar blanket. I know they probably work well in conjunction with one another, but what if you only had a solar blanket and no heating. I looked into it a few years ago and my conclusion was to just build a carport that will support panels and get a system installed separately. The company I looked at had… 1 6481 Does anyone have a suggestion for a good hydronic in slab heating speacialist who may be able to help me with an existing system and wether or not it may need a seperator… 0 4883 Hi everyone, Looking for some advise.
