I am building in an area which is reasonably wet (857mm mean annual rainfall), although it is all relative - this is dry compared to tropical North Queensland - and I have been advised to put in a 120,000 litre tank for a household of 6 with 600m2 of collecting area. Also, have you considered a single steel tank rather than multiple plastic tanks? The cost is comparable and they are better in a bushfire area - although if you need to fit the tanks into a narrow strip, multiple tanks would make sense. Paul This certainly doesn't look good.
