Ok - Heres a thought - How about if i use a 90x45 for the top, sitting 90mm away from the wall and triple griped into the rafters, that way the sheet will only have to bend over a 45mm width and not a 90mm one.(figure a)

Then half way down i use a 45x45 (figure a)

Then right at the end i use 45x45 pieces that fit between the rafters that are nailed right at the end, that way from top i can screw the sheets onto it, and on the end i can screw the gutter onto it. (figure b)

OK - I have decided that i will saw off the profiled ends, after all, the gutter is going to hide it anyways.

I got 2 of 90x45 and 2 of 70x45

One of the 90x45 will sit flat against the wall and i will nail it down to the ledger beam and rafters to provide some strength in that area.

The other will sit upright against the other 90x45 (similar to figure a in previous post).

half way down ill screw in a 70x45 flat.

and on the ends, after cutting off the profiled sections ill insert 70x45 lengths in between the rafters so that they are flush against the end of the rafters and the tops of the rafters. This will be used to screw the sheets into.

Then the fascia, will hopefully have enough 'meat' for the gutter.
