Oiling it every 12 months rather than 6 months. Re: Love the look 4Mar 22, 2011 4:36 pm There is a product that is timber like but it is actually powder coated steel and it looks great. It's easy to put together with a click in system. They are even lengths which makes it look neat. Non-slip too which makes it great for areas with spas and pools but it is more $$ then pine. It has a 10 year warranty against warping and fading etc. I can't think of th eproduct name for th elife of me right now but I have the brochure somehere at home. I'll msg you when I know what it is called [i][b]Krissy & Dave Re: Love the look 5Mar 22, 2011 4:42 pm http://www.decorativeimaging.com.au/ind ... &Itemid=60 I think this is it. Uh....right. We oil our decking about every 10-12 months, but it's not a big deal. If you really love the look, then just go for it. It's not a difficult job to re-oil it, just a couple of hours' work (and some drying time between coats) over a weekend. As it aged we painted it once hmm maybe twice - we have just replaced one side that had some rot and and the rest will be done eventually (the jarrah is here waiting) We oiled the new floor but it went dull looking pretty quick and haven't re-oiled as yet No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11584 Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 9168 |
