Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jan 28, 2011 1:15 pm Hi All, I was bored today so thought i would draw up my house (under construction) using FloorPlanner so that i could work out what I want to do with the backyard and pool area. I've drawn up a couple of options that I think work, i'm interested in opinions that co-ordinate the outdoor, alfresco and pool areas. I really like the look of tiles around the pool. I have a 3 metre easement at the back hence the decking.. Thoughts on these two options? any other options I should consider? Love the idea of the decking, a great place to lounge about in the sun... Do you have a tv point in the alfresco? Can watch the cricket from the pool that way Re: Outdoor Pool Decking/Paving options 3Feb 13, 2011 8:45 am We are having the same dilema. They all look so nice!! We like the look of having the same tiles from to the house to the alfresco and from the alfresco and out around the pool. But in saying that, out indoor tiles are charcoal and that coour will be too hot on the feet around the pool. The coping around the pool is sand stone so we might carry that through around the pool and alfresco. We love the look of decking on alfresco and around the pool but we have heard that the deck in the sun fades and it ebnds up a different colour to the alfresco decking. We are thinking at this stage that we will go the practical way. Both of your options look great. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10971 I had 28m2 of engineered pavers laid six months back and it was difficult to find someone not taking the pi$$. Internet suggested it should be $85-100/m2 to lay them.… 3 12389 As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant.
