I have an outdoor area i wish to enclose without losing the outdoor feeling and was thinking timber screening would be ideal for this. I dont plan to use the screens already made i aim to buy the decking and attach it myself. For those who have taken on a similar project does this decking come cut to size when you go to bunnings or is it in the length it is on the shelf? Re: Decking/Timber screens 2Jan 05, 2011 8:58 pm In regards to merbau from Bunnings, you can buy lengths (generally from our experience, the 140mm boards are available in packs - but the 90mm boards you can buy lengths off the shelf). I'm probably wrong, so dont quote that Bunnings offer a service where they can cut to required lengths if you dont have the facility to do so yourself, so go in store and enquire about that. Also, do a search, there are a few members how have used merbau screens in parts of their yards. Search for kek's, and Michelle's.
