Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Nov 06, 2010 4:07 pm Hello Everyone, We have an external gas point installed which is connected to the main gas line. Can anyone recommend a bbq suitable for running on Natural Gas? I know Weber has one but it is way too small. Looking for something with 4 burners or more + a wok burner, so a bit lost as to which bbq is suitable to be converted from LPG to Natural. Any advice will be very much appreciated Thanks jim Re: Natural Gas bbq recommendation 2Nov 06, 2010 7:08 pm We have a natural gas weber bbq. It is the genesis model and is the best bbq we have ever owned. It is not the Baby Q you are thinking of. It is a four burner and has the side burner also. Check it out here: http://www.weberbbq.com.au/gasbarbecues.htm Re: Natural Gas bbq recommendation 3Nov 07, 2010 6:26 am Hahaha, and I was just going to say that I've noticed the Baby Q and was thinking of getting one of those models (enough for us who barely ever use it ... well, maybe if it cooked by itself ) ... Thanks all cheers jim Not yet still using a bottle, I have a kit in the shed though $99 from B*******, I'm installing a new heater this summer (best time to buy one) so I'll kill two birds with one stone. I've seen heaps in use. Re: Natural Gas bbq recommendation 8Nov 07, 2010 10:59 pm Hi Jim, I am stuck in the same dilema. Most of our friends have Beefeaters. Three / four / five burners. There are three categories with one from Taiwan and the other made in China. Warrantees range from 5 to 10 years. Their Signature range is their higher end of market. What price range are you in? I am trying to talk my hubby into Weber Genesis E320 but it is a tad pricey. Anyone know where I can get a cheap one ??? progress viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20401 sculptures viewtopic.php?f=36&t=26607 pole trouble viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25988 Re: Natural Gas bbq recommendation 9Nov 08, 2010 9:30 am take2 Everdue from Bunnings Thanks take2 and theOK, I've never considered Bunnings sold bbq and accessories too, will check out. Trying to plan my trips to Bunnings more carefully, might come out of it spending thousands without even trying seeking solutions Anyone know where I can get a cheap one ??? That's exactly what I'm looking for too, $600-$800 is about the range I am looking to pay, my DW only allocated a small portion of the budget for boys stuff Beefeater I also have not heard of, will check out thanks all cheers jim Re: Natural Gas bbq recommendation 10Nov 08, 2010 2:27 pm Hi Jim, After months of research I went for the Beefeater Signature 4 burner. Ours is the built in version. Full stainless steel and not cheap, but very good quality.
