Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Oct 23, 2010 9:26 pm Hi All, I have an existing alfresco but i would like to extend it by building a pergola. I was at stratco and i got a quote for around $2800 for a 6m by 3m pergola without installation. Reckon its too expensive. Is this the normal price. I wan thinking of getting a carpenter and use wood to do it. Any ideas or resources would be appreciated. I live in west Melbourne and wouldn't mind if anyone knows who i can give this job to. Thanks Re: help with pergola?? 2Oct 23, 2010 9:29 pm That's about right for the kit price....remember that the Stratco kit is steel. We are having a Stratco kit ( 6m x 4m) fully installed on a concrete slab for $8900 Deemaree Kyndylan Capers: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=46852 My blog: http://www.sufficientlysufficient.blogspot.com/ Re: help with pergola?? 4Oct 23, 2010 9:53 pm A local company sources the kit through Stratco then does the slab & installation.
