I can't remember the name of the panelling but its something that looks like cedar and comes in a finish which doesn't need continual maintenance. My husband put the timber up while I cut it into the correct sizes with a drop saw. My hubby used a small nailgun and each layer clips into the next, kind of like that click together fake timber flooring stuff. I can't remember the price but we built our own patio roof & lined it with the glosswood product for cheaper than a run of the mill patio.
