Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Oct 11, 2010 2:51 pm We are considering a combination of semi-frameless glass and timber fencing for around our pool. The timber fencing would look something like this: http://fdfencing.com.au/timber.html I've read a lot of threads around the maintenance of decking (staining etc.), does the same apply for this type of fencing? We love the look but if it involves a lot of maintenance then we'll skip this idea. Thanks. Re: Timber Pool Fencing 2Oct 11, 2010 3:30 pm Can't use horizontal timbers for fence in a pool area. Maintenance of fence would be dependent on aspect but any timber requires ongoing maintenance. Powder coated aluminum might be a better choice.
