The problem we face is that the is no side access (the house takes up pretty much the whole width of the block) and we cant come through either neighbours yard. What are our options if we even have any. Has anyone else faced this problem? Thanks Re: Pool Excavations 2Sep 23, 2010 7:52 pm your main options are 1. crane over a excevator & a bin & have crane on site lifting over bin & emptying as digging. this is very expensive 2. if doorways line up a conveyor can be used to run out dirt. you will need to crane over a machine or dig by hand. 3 . deping on site you may be able to dig pool only half inground & use fill from hole to go around pool where its above ground level . it depends on size of pool if it can be dug by hand cheers andrew Hi everyone, Looking for some advise.
