Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jun 10, 2010 10:39 am Hi - I hope this is the right place to ask... We are trying to decide what material (timber or timber-look, such as aluminium wood-look) and what style (horizontal slats, or fixed louvre) to do our screens in .....??????????? We are building a new house and have agonised for months on how to build 3 screens: 1. front of portico (1200 wide x 2400 high), 2. upstairs alfresco (3500 wide x 1500 wide), 3. underneath external stairs. We want them to all match (as visible from street), plus match the garage door (probably timber-look Caoba Dawn Colorbond and timber front door). (I can post elevation plans if that helps?). Any suggestions????????? Experiences??????? I haven't found any useful websites, or display centres (we live in Sydney). Any help would be much appreciated... I do have some plans / external finishes in my thread (bottom of signature), but I will extract the relevant ones for the screens in the next few days into this thread. thanks for your response.
