Is this possible or should we just leave alfresco as sand and do the usual way ? just realized i might get more help under the right topic hehe Re: decking over grano? 2Mar 03, 2010 8:19 pm That depends on the aspect of the area...(direction) If it is useful to have it as a solid surface your solar gain heat, or cool will help or hurt you If it will gain too much heat.. say on a western side, might be better to be timber. I might be inclined to concrete it at the right height... So long as there isn't a fence there. ...but why concrete, why not styrups with a timber deck ?Would it be an issue with drainage? If you take into consideration the falls required then no it shouldn't be. Since I haven't seen the area I have no idea if there are any logical reason.
