Looking at 8X4 pool and what about filteration systems n heating options...what the norm and maintenance friendly filter system reqd .lastly wat wld be approx picing for pool this size without the fencing n paving? regards Re: Pool newbie needs help 4Jan 11, 2010 8:39 pm most of the brands of filtration are quiet good waterco, onga, poolrite, hurlcon.dont use chinese unknown brands i use onga because i get good service & back up. they all have base quality up to commercial grade. i use the top end domestic range as the have better flow rate to power consumption ratio & are quieter. filters either cartrige or sand. i prefer cartrige . the use less water & chemicals, take up less space , dont need to be plumbed to waste & cant accidently pump water down the drain when little hands turn a valve.in a dusty enviroment like rural & outback i would allways use a sand filter as fine dust will damage a cartrige prematurly . . cost to supply a pool kit 8 x 4.5is apx $18500 instillation will vary between 6-$11000 depending if your on sand. solar heating will work quiet well in south perth. fitted cost apx $4000 cheers andrew Looking at 8X4 pool and what about filteration systems n heating options...what the norm and maintenance friendly filter system reqd .lastly wat wld be approx picing for pool this size without the fencing n paving? a building inspector should be able to tell you about any major problems but we need a floor plan with dimensions to clarify options for extra bedrooms ... sometime an… 1 8718 Hi everyone, Looking for some advise.
