Re: Pergola in Melbourne 12Dec 29, 2009 7:06 pm Any pictures - we are looking for one to be built in the chase (BERWICK) but will need to be 6m x 7m so quite wide. Would love recommendations Re: Pergola in Melbourne 13Dec 30, 2009 9:57 pm Annietom g'day nody, whereabouts are you? we are in the west and we hired a great company ART Pergolas (they're in yellow pages). We wanted ours done properly with permits. When I mentioned permits to just about all others I rang, they didn't want to know about it. Wouldn't even give me a price, although one did which was at $1K more than ART. They were prompt, professional and friendly. They handled all permit plans, permits and start and finish (and even the inspector to sign off on it after completeion). So I can recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Our pergola is a simple one. Laserlite roof (we wanted clear), it is about 6 x 3.5mtrs (approx) (see pics on my blog if they are there??). They did it over two days and it costed me total (incl plans) $4K. Get a quote from them and take it from there. Let me know if you use them! good luck Hi Annie, you dont have the completed pics on your blog, I would like to see pics as I am very keen on a pergola and would like to do it legit also, I just need some ideas Blog: http://funmore-residence.blogspot.com/ Forum: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=21109 Construction Start - 19/09/09 Slab Poured - 21/10/09 Frame Completed - 25/11/09 Lockup - 22/12/09 Fixing - 22/02/10 Handover & Moved In 30/04/2010 Is there a building permit?
