Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Oct 17, 2009 6:50 am Hope this question is in the right forum: We are getting a glass roof over a patio area - 4m x 4.5m - new home. 3 sides walls and the open end faces and slopes down to the south. in Summer I have figured there would be direct sun for about 4-5 hours. The 3 walls all go up for another floor so the glass is attached to wall not the adjoining roof. I am looking for a company that does motorized shutters over a glass roof. I have seen a perforated shutter which looks nice from underneath but I have been told about solid shutters and a fabric type. Any one with ideas as to how much such a system would cost? I am going with the glass roof because for the other 9 months a solid roof would create too much of a shadow in the adjoining rooms. Thanks in advance.
