Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 May 07, 2009 1:58 pm Hi Guy, New to forum but have read posts regularily in the past. My problem is this. Building in Perth with Celebration Homes. Alfresco area has just been completed and on viewing it the roof seems incredibly low. I counted it out and it is at 25c. Is this normal/legal?? it is incredibly low and the supervisor says it is standard and nothing can be done about it. Have other people had similar experiences/problems. I can touch the bloody roof from -1.5c (standing on the sand). It looks cheap and nasty, is there anything I can do?? Have since worked out that it means 25 coarses of bricks, and also worked out that 25 coarses of brick is not very high. (25 bricks high from the slab and then the ceiling. sorry for the confusion haha 25cms) Maybe if they had bothered to label it somthing that a regular person would understand I wouldnt be in this problem. It is very low. Any suggestions? Builders said ceiling cant be made higher (Too late, timbers done etc....) Has anyone else built with Celebration Homes and gone for the alfresco option? Did you have the ceiling raised, did you manage to make it look ok?
