If that was the case would you not use blackbutt decking?? You can match the Sydney blue gum fairly well too though you wouldn't use that particular species outside (being durability 3) I have an ever changing goal post to aim at so when I got quotes I just asked for a blonde hardwood. seeming I'm not actually building the deck until Jan I can research the products properly and do it right (or as good as this DIYer can).
