Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jan 01, 2009 10:04 pm I purchased a $100-odd outdoor umbrella (for above the spa) from Bunnings a couple of years ago and the cord has broken twice, and I am not going to replace the cord again. I am looking for anyone's recommendations on brand and where to buy at a good price in Sydney. I have looked on eBay and there are a few there that seem like they would be suitable, but are also quite pricy. Everbrite (starting bid $459 or buy-it-now for $800, plus interstate postage!) is made of hardwood frame and has the pulleys on the outside so I would expect it would be much easier to replace the cord in one of them if/when it broke. My neighbour has a "Shelta" brand one which is constructed of steel or aluminium and has lights in it (which would obviously be alot dearer). Their website has the entry-level "San Remo" one which would be more suitable but not sure of the price. The neighbour's one was about $600 I think he said. Certainly now would be an ideal time to buy from a store with all the sales on right now! Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6895 I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45568 Hi We have finally decided to complete a KDR on our corner plot in NE Melbourne suburbs.
