Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Dec 11, 2008 10:46 am Ive jsut taken delivery of a new timber setting, and was wanting to give it an oil before we start using it, (as it was a display model at the store, it could do with a little spruce up.)
can anyone suggest which brand oil to use, I only want to enhance the natural colours. or are they all much of a muchness? Re: outdoor furniture oil? 2Dec 11, 2008 8:38 pm traditional outdoor furniture/decking oils require constant re-application. Oils are evapourated by the sun and also absorb dirt.
IMO you would be better off with something like Sikkens. I'm about to put down some Merbau. Is it necessary to oil underneath the boards before laying? 0 1921 Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10970 Thanks for letting us know. The programmer will have a look at this later today. 2 6667 |
