Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Dec 08, 2008 8:44 pm Hi,
Has anyone had experience with Decking around a pool? My main queries are how close to the concrete shell can I dig the post holes? For example down one side of the pool we will have 1m wide decking. Assuming I will need a post at the exterior edge, how close can I get to the concrete shell - I cant fix a ledger to the shell obviously. Along an 8 meter length that is a lot of post holes for 8m sq deck! Also is there a secret for getting the deck surface flush with the coping edge of the pool? Thanks!
