Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jun 03, 2024 2:46 pm I’ve just had some outdoor textured porcelain tiles installed, and they’re already getting a bit dirty from all the trees and leaves that are around. I’m looking at options to clean and then seal to make future cleaning easier. Pressure washing looks like an option, but I’m unsure how effective it will be from the stains left by a few gum leaves. Does anyone have any experience with trying to get outdoor porcelain tiles pressure cleaned, or had luck with any other solvents? Lots of resources are saying that you cannot see a porcelain tiles, but at least one provider and said that they can do it and that they use a product called just seal it. https://www.justsealit.com.au/ Does anyone have any experience with this or any other product? Re: clean outdoor porcelain tiles 2Sep 13, 2024 9:33 am For the gum tree stains you'll need to use a chlorine based cleaner to remove them. Something like this will work pretty good: https://miteq.com.au/masonry-cleaner-303/ Porcelain are pretty dense so cleaning shouldn't be an issue. Use an acid based cleaner or even the product recommended above should fine to. I'm about to do mine coming into summer as well. I would definitely use a solvent based sealer to seal though. This product is also good for you: https://miteq.com.au/penetrating-sealer-103/ Without trying to steer you away from the product you linked, we (Miteq) are Australian Owned and manufacture here in Melbourne to our own formulations. I am of the belief that they import and relabel that product. thanks. the above one is white Mat tiles and have gripness so going for this Mat tiles for both indoor and outdoor.
