The Previous owner built this deck in timber and then painted it grey which you can see is very weathered after 5 years. I would like the newly re-finished deck to be a warm natural wood colour. My question is will it be possible to sand back the current one without dismantling it so i can stain it in natural? The problem is the grey paint run downs between the slats and may be very difficult to sand back in these hard to reach areas. Or would you recommend i buy new wooden slats and start from scratch?
