Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Aug 11, 2020 5:53 pm Hi there, I am wondering if anyone has installed waterfall ends to their kitchen island after construction handover and what the experience was like? is this even doable? I'd like to do this on my own after the house is handed over I've done a bit of research and my understanding so far is, as long as the overhang is the correct size (same as stone thickness) then it should be ok? Were there any concerns with installing over tiles? any info is appreciated Thanks heaps! Re: Bench waterfall feature after handover. 2Aug 12, 2020 11:10 am My advice is talk to the stone mason who you thinking of using after handover as many will be reluctant to do this kind of work. If the top benchtop overhang is not enough than you will be in big trouble and you wont be able to fix unless you change the top. The other issue is batch colour of the stone although the stone can be the same brand n colour but there are big variations on batches in tones. The cost of just doing the drop down separately might surprise you and work out the same to get it done with kitchen Re: Bench waterfall feature after handover. 3Aug 13, 2020 3:44 pm Awesome thanks for the note !!
