Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 02, 2008 10:41 pm We have Antique white cupboards in our kitchen but due to our renovations I have to get a new benchtop so thought I would go for c/stone. We have dark grey laminate at the moment so just assumed I would go the dark colours again but our kitchen area is now alot darker since the renos so I think I have to change my ideas to the lighter colours - has anyone ever put a lighter colour with Antique white - I am not very confident with colours and I am having a hard time visualising any of the lighter colours ?!!! Re: Re Colours and C/stone 2Oct 02, 2008 11:21 pm Hmmm, we have chosen Quantam Quartz Sandy to go with our white kitchen however it hasn't been installed yet so no photos but lots of fingers and toes crossed hoping it will look ok 'We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.' - Winston Churchill Re: Re Colours and C/stone 3Oct 03, 2008 6:03 am We are having c/s Nova Aurora (not completely white but one of the paler colours) with polar white cupboards; like enigma brennan they haven't been installed yet but hoping it will look good!
If you do a search on 'white kitchen' you should find a few topics where it's been discussed, and some pics. There are quite a few members having white kitchens on the forum. I think they look great Re: Re Colours and C/stone 4Oct 03, 2008 9:25 am mrshusky We have Antique white cupboards in our kitchen but due to our renovations I have to get a new benchtop so thought I would go for c/stone. has anyone ever put a lighter colour with Antique white - I am not very confident with colours and I am having a hard time visualising any of the lighter colours ?!!! Hi there, follow this link https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=9960 it is the post of my kitchen which has Antique White cupboards and Osprey caesarstone benchtops. It actually looks alot better than the photos as we took them last night with only a torch and a flash. Hopefully we can get in this weekend & take photo's in natural light & I can email them to you if you would like. CYA[/url] 1st time bldrs, fussy and impatient! It is fabulous, amazing, I love it.... love, love, love it. sick I know but I do. It is just perfect Jo. Re: Re Colours and C/stone 14Oct 09, 2008 6:30 am mrshusky Thanks for the replies - waterhaven that would be fantastic if you could email some pics, it does look good !. Here you go .... finally some decent light as well as some progress in the kitchen.... they put on the pantry doors - we were expecting a single pantry door as that was what was in the display & shazam! we have two I think they look great! LOVE Jo's kitchen....I would love for my benchtop to be that thick - you can see ours is thinner...oh and waterfall edges would be great....mmmm next house!!!! I hope this photo gives you a better idea !!! I think the Osprey lightens the kitchen without it being too white (not that that is a bad thing!) but we found that it went with the stainless steel, and the creamy colours of the Antique White Cupboards - which in the photos looks a little pinkish. We have the Antique white in our current kitchen (boring chosing the same I know ) but we love it! On the bench we have a laminate can't remember what it is called (maybe valencia) Looks like a marbel & it goes great! Good luck - such fun isn't it!
