Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 05, 2020 9:26 am Hi, I'm installing a new cooktop above the oven and had a question about flexible gas hoses. Is it ok to have a flexible hoses on either side of the regulator- one connected to the cook top, the other from the gas line? Space seems a bit tight and the angle of the connections at the cooktop and the gas line mean if the regulator is connected inline on either end it may mean I can't push the oven all the way back into the cabinet. Thanks Re: Coooktop install - flexible gas hoses? 2Jun 05, 2020 10:20 am JayB001 Is it ok to have a flexible hoses on either side of the regulator- one connected to the cook top, the other from the gas line? Your gas fitter will determine what is allowed by the manufacturer and building regulations. If the regulator needs to be in a different place but only rigid lines are allowed, the gas fitter will add an additional rigid line. That's a fantastic result! Happy you got it sorted out. cheers Simeon 6 8749 I want to build a decking to the drawn shape outlined in black. The problem is how close can I build to the gas hot water unit? Will I be able to build around it and be… 0 20349 you need a fridgie to answer but I would think you vac the whole system then add gas if you have a leak, unless it is new install with the gas already loaded, in that case… 1 3760 |
