Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Best solution for Melamine handleless drawers and cabine 2Aug 06, 2019 2:23 pm chenkus Hello everybody. I have designed some kitchens where I used melamine for drawers and cabinets. I like that these are handleless and I have always opted for sharknose, but I feel that the edge banding does not have a good finish and does not feel good. What is the best solution to make drawers and cabinets handleless in melamine? If you have photos, plans or manuals it would be perfect. Thanks in advance! There's a few options. First is to build recessed finger grips. I'll attach a diagram. It looks nice but you loose space out of your cupboards due to the allowance of the recessed finger grips. This can add up in a drawer bank. There are versions of this that use aluminium extrusions instead of it being built out of melamine.
