Iām surprised you need to ask the question. Does any other power point or switch in your house do this? I'd suggest not, so something is wrong that needs to be fixed by an electrician. I did try to look it up but the technical explanations for why it might happen are a bit too complicated for me and no-one seemed to have a definitive yes it needs to be fixed. I was hoping someone would say this happens with an oven because of the amount of power it draws or something. I didn't want to know it was yet another thing I will have to try to get fixed.
