I am renovating my kitchen and I just wanted to know which one is better for the kitchen countertop? A granite countertop or a quartz countertop?
Budget is not an issue, I just wanted to know which would be most durable?

It really depends on the brand and colour of the quartz top.
I would say there isn't much difference between the two though. They both have pros and cons.

Had both, still got both, find granite a fair bit more patterned, the glossier the stone, the easier it is to see finger prints, stone masons generally prefer quatze only for the fact it is less risky to not break when installed. Our quartz is less polished which will mean, less cleaning, but I do love the 100% natural real granite, both durable choices, but I will say, if you get rounded edges, both stones less likly to chip when it's hit with a plate.
