The question I always ask people is "will you be able to reach up to close them when they are open?" Factors to consider here are how high you can comfortably reach, how high your wall units finish and how high (top to bottom) the door fronts are. This also depends on which of the four different Aventos lift up door systems you are getting - they do say that they will stay open in any postion, but odds on the doors will get opened all the way quite a bit. Our cupboards are to the ceiling so I will have to see what will happen with the blum cupboard. I don't intend to use the top shelf of the cupboard for anything used regularly so hopefully the cupboard wont be opened all the way when it is opened. Your advice is appreciated! Paddy, I was wondering how much it cost to go for those Blum horizontal cupboards? Thanks. Re: blum 6Oct 01, 2008 4:05 pm I have no idea how much it would cost. We are going in to our first PC tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know.
I really like the look but I dont think we can afford to upgrade to it. Lucky you for having them!! |
