Re: Minimum width for walk though? 4Sep 11, 2008 1:40 pm If a kitchen is really short on available space you can get away with 850mm, the same as a doorway, but I would not recommend this for a galley style or similar kitchen where the entire area is this width.
The acceptable norm for distances between workspaces in a kitchen is between 1000mm and 1500mm. Less than 1000 becomes cramped and potentially dangerous while more than 1500 means the distances you are covering start to become wearying.
